Wiresawing

Concrete wire sawing is an advanced cutting technique used for large, thick concrete structures such as walls, barriers, pillars, bridges, and other heavy-duty concrete applications. Ideal for cutting through tough materials, wire sawing is especially effective for large concrete pipes, load-bearing objects, and complex or hard-to-reach cuts.

A wire saw utilizes a high-tensile steel cable, which is coated with super-hard diamond crystals at regular intervals. The cable is threaded through the concrete and guided by a system of pulleys, which align the wire and maintain tension as the cutting process begins. This method allows for precise cuts even in the toughest concrete materials.

Benefits of Concrete Wire Sawing include:

  • Access to large or irregular objects that are difficult to cut with standard saws

  • Ability to cut load-bearing objects without the risk of the blade getting caught, unlike traditional metal blades

  • Flush cuts when removing pillars, allowing cuts directly at floor level or ceiling height

  • Quieter operation compared to regular concrete saws, reducing noise disruption on site

At Cutting Force, we leverage wire sawing technology for precision and efficiency in demanding cutting tasks, delivering high-quality results for even the most challenging projects.
