Victorian Desalination Plant

The Victorian Desalination Plant is a key industrial facility located in Victoria, Australia, focused on the production of deceleration systems for the rail and transportation sectors. The plant specializes in manufacturing advanced train braking components and systems that are critical for ensuring the safety and efficiency of train operations across the state. With a focus on innovation and quality, the Victorian Desalination Plant plays a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance and development of Victoria's rail infrastructure, contributing to safer, more reliable rail services. By producing high-performance braking solutions, the plant helps to meet the growing demands of modern rail networks, ensuring that trains can operate safely and efficiently under all conditions.

Cutting Force provided extensive road and wall sawing, large core drilling and hydraulic hand sawing and ring sawing for the modernisation and total refurbishment of the Traralgon Water Treatment Plant. Works covered a full time period of approximately three months and entailed confined space drilling and sawing, the removal of approximately 84 tons of concrete in total and the drilling of 8 large core holes up to 800mm in diameter
