Brisbane Airport Link

Brisbane

The Brisbane Airport Link is a vital infrastructure project designed to improve connectivity between Brisbane’s Central Business District (CBD) and Brisbane Airport. The project consists of a 12-kilometer toll road that connects the Gateway Motorway to the airport precinct, significantly reducing travel time and easing congestion for passengers, businesses, and commuters. Opened in 2012, the Brisbane Airport Link includes a combination of underground tunnels and surface roads, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of travel to and from the airport. This key transport route supports both passenger and freight movement, contributing to the region's economic growth and positioning Brisbane as a more connected and accessible global city.

Cutting Force was engaged to provide all concrete cutting and coring services for the Brisbane Airport Link, a major infrastructure project designed to improve connectivity between Brisbane’s Central Business District and the airport. Our team carried out a wide range of tasks, including core drilling and precision concrete cutting to support various structural elements of the project.

Notably, we were responsible for cutting crosspassage between tunnels, a critical component for ensuring safety and access within the underground system. Cutting Force's expertise in high-precision cutting and coring played a key role in the successful delivery of this important transport link.
